“Wooosh” the wind was roaring. it was so strong our hair was dancing The trees were leaning just about t o snap and the wind was whistling as we tried to fight against it.my friend bob and i were going through all of this just to collect shells.
On our way to the beach Bob was trying to hold onto his snapback but seconds after that the wind picked it up and his hat was gone forever i don't know why he treasured it the hat wasn't even real he found it not so long ago abandoned it didn't have a logo on it , unless the word Swag included nah it probably wasn't it was drawn in vivid.
But anyways we were just a few minutes away so we started to run fast then faster but still the wind was too strong to fight against so we walked untill we got there.”Splash” we could hear the waves Splashing but we didn't care because we arrived. But Bob was happier then ever because he found his hat that was “found” facedown in the sand.
And i collected the shells and walked back home glad and Bob came back with his hat then a kid went past with a real hat but he dropped it so bob threw his away and took the real one.
Nice writing Giselle. I have been on the beach on days like that so I know just what you are writing about. I do like the way your first couple of sentences hooked me and grabbed my attention.
